Pillars of Dignity

Not Promises- Values and Commitments

These are not campaign promises — they are the values I have lived and the commitments I will carry into every vote, every meeting, and every conversation at City Hall. Every decision I make will be tested against one question: does this serve the dignity of Ward 2 residents?

8 Pillars of Dignity

Stewardship of Growth

Growth is necessary — but growth without a plan is just pressure. Every development must be assessed, proportionate, and respectful of what came before it. I define the height before the builder arrives, not after.

The Fabric of Cohesion

Ward 2 is a cloth woven by its residents over decades. Every new thread must strengthen it. Heritage, culture, neighbourhoods, public spaces that bring people together — these are the soul of this ward.

Institutional Clarity

You have the right to understand every decision made in your name. Plain-language budget updates. Transparent voting records within 48 hours of every major vote. A Financial Clarity Audit for Ward 2 so you track every dollar of the $300M.

Generational Equity

Every decision I make will be tested against two questions: what does this mean for the generation before us, and what does it mean for the generation coming after? The future belongs to both.

Restorative Safety

Safety is not just the absence of danger. It is the presence of trust — in streets, in systems, in the institutions that serve you. No new development approved without a proper traffic impact assessment for Ward 2.

Empowering the Helpers

Non-profits, volunteers, community organizations, small businesses — these are the connective tissue of Ward 2. They deserve a councillor who amplifies their work, not one who ignores it.

Foundation of Wellness

Recreation centres, libraries, parks, green space — these are not extras. They are the infrastructure of a healthy community. Seniors, children, and families deserve spaces that see them.

Environmental Grace

We inherited something beautiful. We have a responsibility to pass it on. Environmental considerations are not an afterthought — they are a condition of every approval I will support.
